Msg Dill Pickles
Ingredients
- 1-2 large cucumber (or 12 pickling cucumbers)
- 1.5 cups (360ml) vinegar
- 3/4 cup (180ml) water
- 1 tablespoon (15g) kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon (15g) sugar
- 2 teaspoons (9g) MSG
- 2-4 sprigs dill
- 2 cloves garlic crushed and roughly chopped
Directions
- 1. Cut cucumber into rounds/coins and place in a 32oz heat-safe mason jar.
- 2. Mix vinegar, water, salt, sugar, and MSG into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- 3. Pour mixture into jar with cucumbers.
- 4. Let cool for about 1 minute, then add dill and garlic.
- 5. Let jar cool to room temperature and pickles are done.
- 6. Store in fridge for months.
